Saint Paul and Nagasaki- 60 Years as Sister Cities!

2015 marks the sixtieth anniversary of St. Paul and Nagasaki’s sister city relationship. This is the oldest such relationship between any Japanese and American city. Many events are being held throughout St. Paul in celebration of the seventy years of peace between our nations and sixty years of friendship between our cities. Nagasaki Mayor, Tomihisa Taue, will travel to St. Paul for these events with several of his city council members and representatives, and representatives from the Nagasaki branches of the Japan America Society and Rotary International.
