Minneapolis has been a sister city of Ibaraki in Osaka for a long time. Every year, a local committee hosts an adult English study group (mostly women) in July. One of the programs is a home stay for one weekend.

This year they are planning the home stay weekend from July 12 to 14. Basically the host volunteers will pick up two people at the MCAD student dome on Friday after work time and drop them off at Sunday morning at Nicollet Island for joining the Sister Cities Day Cerebration.

The local committee is looking for three more homes to host the people. The Japanese visitors are mostly women in their 60′s.
