With everyone feeling budgetary constraints these days, even JETAA-USA, all sub-chapters were required to handle their own hosting as of October 1st, 2011. So that day has come and passed, and we’ve moved our under-utilized website to our new home, http://www.jetaamn.org.

Though it seems like everyone uses Facebook these days, it’s our intent to rebuild our website to be something of a portal to the JET Program, Japan in general, and our little community of former ALT’s and CIR’s in the upper Midwest. We’ll be integrating our Twitter and Facebook accounts with this site as much as possible, and in general just try to better utilize the site to bring our community together.

If you have ideas or suggestions for the site, please contact us and let us know. Also, we’d like to create something of a directory for any Minnesotan’s who are currently on the program and are keeping blogs of some sort. If you know of any, please let us know! Also, if you know of a Minnesota returnee who has still has a blog available detailing their time abroad, please let us know about that too.
