After a very LONG winter that seemed as if it would never end, it was finally time to celebrate spring and throw a hanami picnic!  On May 15th, many JET alums, friends and families enjoyed the beautiful weather and blossoming trees surrounding us in the lovely setting of Lyndale Park near Lake Harriet.  Good food, good friends, and gorgeous warm sunshine for all!  (I do recall hearing about a few first-of-the-season-sunburns after this.  Oops!)  We may not have had as many cherry blossoms as Japan, but we definitely had hanami spirit!
